How health sharing works

Three steps from membership to care.

    Contribute monthly

    Your monthly share is based on your program, sharing level, age, and whether your membership is for an individual, couple, or family.

    Choose your care

    When you need care, choose the provider that is right for you and present your member ID card when applicable.

  3. 03

    Submit eligible bills

    After care is received, eligible bills are submitted for processing under the Sharing Guidelines.

Is health sharing insurance?

No. America’s HealthShare is a healthcare sharing program, not an insurance company or insurance policy.

How are medical needs shared?

Members contribute a monthly share. When an eligible medical need is received and meets the Sharing Guidelines, the community’s contributions may be used to help share the expense.

Can I use telehealth?

Telehealth is included with America’s RED. It is also available as an add-on with America’s BLUE, and program details should be reviewed before enrollment.
